Did you know that if you are a home owner it is recommended for you to have a Periodic Electrical Inspection Condition Report (EICR) at least every 10 years.
But what actually is it?
Well, it is actually an inspection and associated testing to check whether an electrical installation is in a satisfactory condition. Once the necessary inspecting and testing is completed you will receive an EICR which will detail any observed damage, defects, dangerous conditions and any non-compliances with the present-day safety standard which might give rise to danger. It’s a bit like an MOT on your car.
